If you accidentally delete your eSIM from the phone or router, the same eSIM normally cannot be installed again with the old QR code.
The QR code can usually only be used once and only for the first installation. So if the eSIM profile is deleted from the device, contact us. We will check what applies to your eSIM and help you further.
So do not delete the eSIM profile during normal troubleshooting unless you have been instructed to do so.
Avoid using up the eSIM profile
Treat the QR code like an installation key. Install the profile on the device where it is actually going to be used, and do not delete a working profile unnecessarily. If you change device or have deleted the profile by mistake, contact support before you continue, so that reinstallation is not made more difficult.
Important with eSIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM profile and does not work quite like a plastic SIM. So do not delete the profile and do not scan the QR code with another device just to test it. A QR code may be intended for a single installation, and if the old profile is deleted, a new one may need to be ordered.
