You install the eSIM with the QR code you receive from us by email or, for some eSIMs, via My Pages.
On your phone, open the settings for mobile or SIM cards and choose the option Add eSIM. Then scan the QR code and follow the instructions on the screen.
When the installation is complete, check that the eSIM profile is enabled and selected for mobile data. If you use the eSIM for roaming, data roaming must also be switched on.
Remember that the QR code can normally only be used once. So do not delete the eSIM profile after installation and do not do an unnecessary factory reset, as the same QR code usually cannot be used again.
Important with eSIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM profile and does not work quite like a plastic SIM. So do not delete the profile and do not scan the QR code with another device just to test it. A QR code may be intended for a single installation, and if the old profile is deleted, a new one may need to be ordered.
