How do I switch back to Auto?

Log in to the router’s settings and go to Mobile network, Network settings, Network Selection or similar.

Then change network selection from Manual to Auto/Automatic and save the setting.

The router then searches for an available partner network itself and connects automatically. This is the setting we normally recommend, especially when you travel between different regions or countries.

If the router does not connect straight away after the change, restart it and wait about a minute while it searches for a network.

How network selection works when roaming

When roaming, the device searches for available partner networks. Automatic network selection is normally the first choice, but if the connection does not work, manual network selection can be a good troubleshooting step. Remember: a network that appears in the list does not automatically mean that your SIM is allowed to register on it.

If it still does not work

Check the status of the service and then test one thing at a time. When you contact Wifi.se support, please tell us which router you are using, which SIM/eSIM it concerns, which country you are in and what you have already tested. That way we can start directly with the right troubleshooting step.
