Does the operator have to be chosen manually?

Start with automatic network selection and leave data roaming switched on. If the internet does not work, you can try another permitted network manually. Different operators have different coverage and capacity, and not all visible networks are permitted for your SIM.

When troubleshooting, it is best to change only one thing at a time. That makes it easier to see which step actually solves the problem.

How to test manual network selection

Normally leave network selection on Auto. If the internet does not work, you can search for available networks and try a partner network manually. Wait after each choice, as registration can take about a minute. When the test is finished, it is best to set network selection back to Auto so that the router can change network when needed.

How network selection works when roaming

When roaming, the device searches for available partner networks. Automatic network selection is normally the first choice, but if the connection does not work, manual network selection can be a good troubleshooting step. Remember: a network that appears in the list does not automatically mean that your SIM is allowed to register on it.

If it still does not work

Check the status of the service and then test one thing at a time. When you contact Wifi.se support, please tell us which router you are using, which SIM/eSIM it concerns, which country you are in and what you have already tested. That way we can start directly with the right troubleshooting step.
