The lights on the Hybrid Traveller show, among other things, the router’s status, the network connection and the signal.
The Mode light is especially important:
- Blue: The router is connected and working normally.
- Green: The router is active, but the connection or network type may differ.
- Red: The router has problems with the mobile connection or cannot find a working network.
If the Mode light is red, restart the router first. Also check that the SIM card is active and that data roaming is switched on if you are using a roaming SIM.
If the light stays red, you can do a reset by holding down the RESET button for about 30 seconds and then let the router restart completely.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
