When you buy a data card or starter card, you are registered in Wifi.se’s system and get access to My Pages. There you can then activate the SIM, see your data and buy the service or activation period you need.
When troubleshooting, it is best to change only one thing at a time. That makes it easier to see which step actually solves the problem.
Check your data before troubleshooting
If the data package has run out, the Wi-Fi can still be visible and the device can still connect to the router, but internet traffic does not work as usual. So check the remaining data and the package’s validity on My Pages before changing router settings.
Why My Pages is important
It is best to check the status of the service on My Pages before you start troubleshooting the router. If a SIM is inactive or the data package has run out, changing the router settings will not help. So always check activation and data first.
If it still does not work
Check the status of the service and then test one thing at a time. When you contact Wifi.se support, please tell us which router you are using, which SIM/eSIM it concerns, which country you are in and what you have already tested. That way we can start directly with the right troubleshooting step.
