The router gets warm. Is that normal?

Yes, it is normal for the Hybrid Traveller to get warm during use, especially when it uses 5G, charges at the same time or has many devices connected.

But the router should not get extremely hot. So place it in the open with some air around it and avoid direct sun, closed cupboards and other warm places.

If the router feels unusually hot, switch it off for a while and let it cool down before starting it again.

If it still gets very hot during normal use, get in touch with us. We will help you check that everything is working as it should.

Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller

The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
