The roof antenna has seven cables because it combines several antenna functions in one unit.
The cables are divided like this:
- 4 cables for the 4G/5G mobile network
- 2 cables for Wi-Fi
- 1 cable for GPS
Together, the four mobile cables give better conditions for a stable and fast 4G/5G connection. The two Wi-Fi cables are used for the router’s wireless network. The seventh cable is for GPS.
Should all the cables be connected?
Connect the four mobile cables and the two Wi-Fi cables to the correct antenna connectors on the router.
The GPS cable is connected to the router’s GPS connector if it is to be used. On the Wifi Performance 5G, the GPS cable can also be connected even if the GPS function is not used.
Make sure you connect each cable to the correct connector, and carefully tighten the connectors by hand.
