Where should I place the Hybrid Traveller?

Place the Hybrid Traveller as openly and as high up as possible, preferably near a window. This gives the router better conditions for receiving the mobile network signal.

Do not place it deep inside a cupboard, near a lot of metal or behind thick walls, as this can weaken reception.

In a motorhome or caravan, just a few metres can make a big difference to signal and speed. So feel free to try a few spots if the connection seems weak or unstable.

The Hybrid Traveller has built-in antennas and does not need a roof antenna. An external antenna cannot be connected either, so the router’s placement is especially important for the best possible result.

Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller

The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
