First connect your phone, tablet or computer to the Hybrid Traveller’s Wi-Fi. Then open a browser and go to http://192.168.8.1/.
This opens the router’s web interface, where you can view and change router settings and use various functions for troubleshooting.
The username and password are on a label on the back of the router. If you have not changed the login details yourself, the defaults are:
Username: admin
Password: admin
If you have changed the password previously, you need to use the new password.
The web interface is mainly used for router settings and troubleshooting. Do not change advanced network settings unless you know what they do or are following a Wifi.se guide, as incorrect settings can affect the internet connection.

Before you open the web interface
First connect your phone or computer to the router’s Wi-Fi. Then open the router’s local address in the browser. If the page does not open, check that the device really is connected to the right router, and temporarily switch off mobile data on the phone if it tries to use the mobile network instead.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
If it still does not work
Check the status of the service and then test one thing at a time. When you contact Wifi.se support, please tell us which router you are using, which SIM/eSIM it concerns, which country you are in and what you have already tested. That way we can start directly with the right troubleshooting step.
