Yes. The Hybrid Traveller is very well suited for the holiday home, especially if you want internet without having fibre or a fixed broadband contract installed.
You simply place the router where it has a good mobile signal and then connect your phone, computer, tablet, TV and other Wi-Fi devices just as at home.
For use in Sweden it goes well with our Swedish SIM cards, which are valid for 12 months from activation. That is practical if you only use the holiday home for part of the year and want a simple internet solution without an ongoing monthly subscription.
The Hybrid Traveller supports 5G and 4G and uses the network available at the holiday home. How fast the connection is depends on the coverage, the distance to the mobile mast and the network load.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
