Yes. The Hybrid Traveller is well suited for working on the move, for example in a motorhome, caravan, holiday home or at a campsite.
You can connect your computer, phone and other work devices to the router’s Wi-Fi and use services such as email, video calls, cloud services and VPN.
With 5G you have good conditions for a fast and stable connection. The actual speed, however, always depends on the coverage, the local operator and the load on the mobile network.
If you work over a VPN, we usually recommend using the VPN directly on the computer or device you work on, not in the router. That usually gives better performance and makes troubleshooting easier.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
