Can I use it for the TV?

Yes. With the Hybrid Traveller you can easily connect a TV to the internet.

You can connect a smart TV, Apple TV, Google TV Streamer, Chromecast, Xiaomi TV Stick or a similar device to the router’s Wi-Fi and use streaming services just as you do at home.

If the TV cannot find the network or cannot connect, try the router’s 2.4 GHz network, as some TVs and media players work better there than on 5 GHz.

Also remember that streaming uses quite a lot of data. How much depends on the picture quality and the streaming service, among other things.

For stable streaming

For streaming you need a stable mobile connection to the router and a good Wi-Fi connection to the TV or streaming device. If the TV buffers but the phone works well, connect the TV to 2.4 GHz if it is further from the router, or to 5 GHz if it is close and supports it.

Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller

The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
