No, we recommend not leaving the Hybrid Traveller in direct sunlight for long periods.
The router contains electronics and a battery, and high heat can affect performance, battery life and lifespan. It can get especially hot behind a windscreen or in a motorhome parked in the sun.
So place the router somewhere light and open, ideally near a window, but not where the sun shines directly on the device.
Also leave some space around the router so that the heat can escape.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
