What is the Hybrid Traveller 5G?
The Hybrid Traveller 5G is a portable 5G router that creates its own Wi-Fi network over the mobile network. It is designed for anyone who wants a flexible internet solution at home, in a motorhome, in a caravan, on a boat or when travelling.
You insert a compatible SIM card in the router, and the Hybrid Traveller then shares the internet connection wirelessly with your devices.
The Hybrid Traveller is well suited for
- travel in Sweden and Europe
- motorhomes and caravans
- boats and holiday homes
- streaming and working on the move
- phones, tablets, computers and smart TVs
- several devices connected at the same time
5G and Wi-Fi
The router uses 5G or 4G depending on the coverage available where you are. Your devices then connect to the router over Wi-Fi.
The Hybrid Traveller offers Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. That means you can connect both modern devices and devices that only support 2.4 GHz.
Portable with a battery
The Hybrid Traveller has a built-in battery and can also be used when no ordinary power socket is available. Depending on use and signal strength, battery life is normally up to about 6–8 hours.
It can also be powered from 12 V or 230 V, which makes it especially practical in a motorhome or caravan, for example.
Works with a roaming SIM
The Hybrid Traveller is not locked to a particular operator and works with compatible SIM cards, including data roaming SIMs for Europe.
That means you can use the same router when you travel between different countries.
