Yes. We normally recommend leaving network selection on Auto.
The router then searches for an available mobile network itself and automatically connects to an operator that works with your roaming SIM. This is especially practical when you travel between different countries and regions.
But if the connection is slow, unstable or does not work at all, you can try manual network selection and test another available operator.
When the problem has been solved, we recommend setting network selection back to Auto so that the router can choose the network itself as you travel on.
How to test manual network selection
Normally leave network selection on Auto. If the internet does not work, you can search for available networks and try a partner network manually. Wait after each choice, as registration can take about a minute. When the test is finished, it is best to set network selection back to Auto so that the router can change network when needed.
Good to know about the roaming SIM
A roaming SIM connects to partner operators in the countries included in the package. Which mobile network is used can therefore vary from place to place. Data roaming normally needs to be switched on, and in some situations manual network selection can help if the automatic choice has got stuck on a weak or unavailable network.
