How do I connect the antenna?

Wifi Extreme has connectors for external antennas. The included antennas are screwed directly onto the router’s antenna connectors.

Do this:

1. It is best to switch off the router before connecting the antennas.
2. Carefully screw the antennas onto the correct antenna connectors on the router.
3. Tighten them by hand until they are secure.
4. Do not use tools and do not overtighten, as the connectors can be damaged.
5. Start the router and check the signal.

If you use a patch or roof antenna

Patch and roof antennas are connected to the router’s external antenna connectors via antenna cables. Before installing, check that the connectors fit the router.

A roof antenna normally requires a permanent installation: the antenna is mounted on the roof of the motorhome or caravan and the cables are run to the router.

Place the antenna as openly as possible and, if possible, not right next to large metal parts or other electronic devices.
