No. Remaining data does not expire just because the SIM card’s 12-month validity is extended. It can continue to be used in the new validity period according to the rules of the service.
The Sweden SIM is intended for mobile data in Sweden and follows the validity of the data package you chose.
When troubleshooting, it is best to change only one thing at a time. That makes it easier to see which step actually solves the problem.
Check your data before troubleshooting
If the data package has run out, the Wi-Fi can still be visible and the device can still connect to the router, but internet traffic does not work as usual. So check the remaining data and the package’s validity on My Pages before changing router settings.
