Sweden SIM is a data SIM for you who need internet in Sweden. It fits, for example, in a router, motorhome, caravan, boat, holiday home or other compatible device.

Our Sweden packages are valid in 12 months from activation, according to the data package you have chosen.

The SIM card is activated directly and you can manage the activation yourself via My Pages.

If you buy more data while you already have an active data package, the new package will only take effect when the current package is completely used up or has expired.

The validity period for the new data package is counted from the day it begins to be used and is valid in 12 months.

No, it is not possible to select a future activation date.

After completed payment, your new data package is added directly. It may take a few minutes before the new balance is visible and available.

Yes. Sweden SIM works in most unlocked 4G and 5G routers.

For the best speed and stability, we recommend a modern 5G router with 5G coverage.

No. Our SIM cards do not have a PIN code, so you do not need to enter or disable a PIN when the SIM card is used in a router.

If your router has two SIM slots, we normally recommend that you use SIM slot 1.

When the SIM card is used in Sweden, data roaming is not normally needed in the same way as with a Europe SIM.

If you use the SIM card in a router, we still recommend that you follow the settings for the current router.

Sweden SIM is intended for use in Sweden. If you are travelling outside of Sweden, we recommend ours instead Europe SIM, which is adapted for data roaming in Europe.

Yes. If the SIM card is in a router, several mobile phones, computers, tablets, TVs and other devices can connect to the router’s WiFi at the same time.

How many devices work well at the same time depends on the router, the coverage and what the devices are used for.

Yes. You can use Sweden SIM for streaming, surfing, work and other common internet services.

Keep in mind that streaming uses significantly more data than regular surfing and e-mail.

As a benchmark, it takes approx 1-3GB per hour when streaming, depending on the streaming service, picture quality and resolution.

HD and higher resolution use more data than lower image quality.

How much data you need depends on how the internet is used.

• Normal browsing, e-mail and messaging use relatively little data.
• Streaming TV and movies uses significantly more data.
• More people and devices cause data consumption to increase faster.

If you stream regularly, you should therefore choose a larger data package.

You use data from the total amount of data included in your data package. How quickly the data is consumed depends on how you use the internet.

Streaming, video meetings, large downloads and multiple connected devices can cause data to be accessed faster.

Yes, data consumption is controlled by how you use the connection. If you stream a lot or have several devices connected, a large part of the data package can be used in a short time.

You can follow your SIM and your data consumption via My Pages.

Data consumption is not always displayed in real time. The information is normally updated on weekdays and the weekend’s consumption can therefore only be shown on Monday.

If you run out of data, you can easily buy and add a new data package directly via My Pages.

The new data package is added to your SIM card after payment and becomes available within a few minutes.

Yes. If the SIM card is used in a compatible mobile, you can normally share the internet to other devices via the mobile’s hotspot.

Keep in mind that multiple connected devices can cause data consumption to increase faster.

Yes. Sweden SIM is suitable for internet in a motorhome, caravan, boat, holiday home and other places where you want a mobile internet connection in Sweden.

Yes. Sweden SIM can be used for e-mail, surfing, remote work and video meetings.

The quality depends on the mobile network coverage, load and which router or device you use.

The speed depends on, among other things, coverage, mobile network, location, load and which router or device you use.

Therefore, it is not possible to guarantee a certain speed in all locations.

Yes, if your SIM, data package, router and the local mobile network support 5G, you can use 5G.

Otherwise, the device connects to the available mobile network.

First test the SIM card in a mobile phone:

• Activate mobile data.
• Turn off WiFi in the mobile phone.
• Check that the mobile connects to the mobile network.

If the internet works in the mobile phone, you can put the SIM card back in the router and restart it.

The speed of the mobile network can vary depending on how many people use the network at the same time, signal strength, distance to the mobile mast and which network technology is used.

It is therefore normal that the speed can be different at different times of the day.

Yes, the SIM card can normally be moved between compatible and unlocked devices, for example between a router and a mobile phone.
