Yes. The Hybrid Traveller can be charged and powered via USB, which makes it easy to use at home and on the move.
You can connect it, for example, to a suitable USB power adapter, a USB socket in the motorhome or caravan, or a power bank, as long as it delivers enough power.
For stable operation we recommend a power source with the right output for the router. If the USB socket delivers too little power, the router may charge slowly or run unstably.
The Hybrid Traveller also has a built-in battery, so it keeps working for a while when it is not connected to power.
For the best battery life
Battery life depends on the signal strength, the number of connected devices and data usage. With a weak mobile signal the router often has to work harder, which can increase power consumption. For longer stationary use it therefore makes sense to connect the router to power.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
