Yes. You can use Chromecast with our routers, as long as the Chromecast and the device you stream from are connected to the same Wi-Fi.
This works well for streaming YouTube, Netflix and other compatible apps to the TV, for example.
Using Chromecast in a motorhome or caravan
If you use Chromecast in a motorhome or caravan, you can power it with our multimedia USB power adapter for 12 V.
With the adapter you can power compatible media players via USB without needing an ordinary 230 V socket.
It is therefore well suited, for example, for:
- Chromecast
- Google TV Streamer
- Xiaomi TV Stick
- other compatible media players with USB power
How it works
- Connect the Chromecast or media player to the TV.
- Connect the power via USB or our 12 V multimedia USB power adapter.
- Connect the Chromecast and your phone or tablet to the router’s Wi-Fi.
- Open the app you want and start streaming.
Remember that streaming can use a lot of data, especially in high resolution. So check your remaining data on My Pages if you use a limited data package.
