Wifi.se’s Swedish SIM cards are data packages for Sweden and use Telenor’s mobile network and masts. They are not ordinary monthly packages but are valid for 12 months at a time or until the data has been used up. The SIM card’s validity can be extended so that the card and the remaining data are not lost unnecessarily.
The Sweden SIM is intended for mobile data in Sweden and follows the validity of the data package you chose.
The exact result can depend on the device, coverage, data package and local mobile network. If you have problems, first test with the default settings and check the status of the service before changing advanced network values.
Check your data before troubleshooting
If the data package has run out, the Wi-Fi can still be visible and the device can still connect to the router, but internet traffic does not work as usual. So check the remaining data and the package’s validity on My Pages before changing router settings.
Good to know about the Sweden SIM
A Sweden SIM is mainly intended for use in Sweden and differs from Wifi.se’s roaming SIMs for travel in Europe. Always check which type of SIM and which data package you have, as validity, amount of data and area of use can differ between products.
