The Hybrid Traveller has a built-in battery that normally lasts about 6–8 hours, depending on use.
Battery life depends, among other things, on the signal strength, whether the router uses 4G or 5G, how many devices are connected and how much data is used.
When streaming, in video calls or with many connected devices, for example, the battery can run down faster.
For longer use we recommend connecting the router to USB, 12 V or 230 V when possible.
For the best battery life
Battery life depends on the signal strength, the number of connected devices and data usage. With a weak mobile signal the router often has to work harder, which can increase power consumption. For longer stationary use it therefore makes sense to connect the router to power.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
