No. The Hybrid Traveller does not need a roof antenna.
The router has built-in antennas and is designed to work without a permanently mounted external antenna on the motorhome or caravan. So you do not need to drill holes in the roof, run cables or install anything permanently.
An external antenna cannot be connected to the Hybrid Traveller. For the best possible reception we therefore recommend placing the router as openly and as high up as possible, preferably near a window.
That makes it easy to take the Hybrid Traveller between the motorhome, the caravan, the holiday home and home, without having to mount a roof antenna.
Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller
The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices. When you have problems, it is worth checking both separately.
