Router WiFi Performance 5G and Roof Antenna

1. General Information

This router is designed to provide fast internet connectivity and supports 5G technology. Depending on your order, the router may be delivered:

  • With a pre-installed SIM card, already inserted and activated if activation was selected during purchase.
  • Without a SIM card, meaning you will need to insert and activate the SIM card yourself (see sections 10 and 12).

This manual includes detailed instructions for setting up and using the router with patch antennas, flexible antennas that can be positioned for optimal performance.

2. Included Accessories

The router package includes the following components:

  • Patch Antennas:
    • 4 antennas for 5G (labeled “5G”).
    • 2 antennas for Wi-Fi (labeled “Wi-Fi”).
    • All patch antennas come with 2-meter-long cables.
  • Router unit
  • LAN cable
  • Power cables (depending on your order):
    • A 12-volt cigarette lighter cable.
    • A 230-volt adapter.
    • A battery connection cable.
  • Pre-installed SIM card (if applicable).

3. For Routers with Pre-Installed SIM Cards

If the router is delivered with a pre-installed and activated SIM card, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the power cable to the router.
  2. Attach the roof antenna cables to their respective ports on the router.
  3. Turn on the router.
  4. The router is ready to use, and the internet will be available if the SIM card is activated.

4. For Routers Without Pre-Installed SIM Cards

If the router is delivered without a SIM card, follow these steps:

  1. Insert a SIM card into SIM 1 as per the instructions in section 10.
  2. Check the SIM card activation status (see section 12).
  3. Once the SIM card is activated and correctly inserted, connect the router to power and antennas.
  4. Turn on the router, and the internet should now work.

5. Installing Patch Antennas

  • 5G Antennas:
    • Attach the 5G antennas (labeled “5G”) to the router ports labeled Mobile Main and Mobile Aux.
  • Wi-Fi Antennas:
    • Attach the Wi-Fi antennas (labeled “Wi-Fi”) to the router ports labeled Wi-Fi.
  • Placement Recommendations for Patch Antennas:
    • Place patch antennas in different locations for better signal reception.
    • Avoid placing antennas near metal surfaces or other obstructions.

6. Recommendations for Router Placement

  • Placement Tips:
    • Mount the router in a cabinet or on a wall using the included Velcro strips.
    • Ensure the router’s label (containing SSID and password) is not covered by Velcro.
    • Wi-Fi coverage extends to both indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Removing the Router:
    • Use a fork or knife to gently loosen the Velcro if you need to move the router.

7. Wi-Fi Settings

  • Network Name (SSID):
    • The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) is printed on the label on the back of the router.
  • Wi-Fi Password:
    • The password is also printed on the label.

8. How to Insert a SIM Card

  1. Turn off the router.
  2. Insert the SIM card into SIM 1:
    • Ensure the card is correctly oriented and slides in smoothly.
    • Do not press too hard to avoid damage.
  3. Turn on the router and wait 1–1.5 minutes for it to boot up.
  4. The router’s lights will blink while searching for 3G, 4G, and 5G signals.
  5. Once the connection is established, the 4G or 5G light will stay solid.

9. Troubleshooting

A. Internet Not Working – All Lights Blinking
  • Cause: The SIM card is not correctly inserted or the router cannot detect it.
  • Solution:
    1. Turn off the router.
    2. Insert the SIM card properly into SIM 1.
    3. Turn on the router and check the lights.
B. No Internet Connection Found
  • Cause: The SIM card is not activated, or the signal strength is poor.
  • Solution:
    • Check the SIM card activation status (see section 12).
    • Move the router or antennas to a location with better signal reception.
