Can I use Netflix?
Yes. You can use Netflix with our routers and SIM cards, as long as the internet connection is fast enough and you still have data left in your package.
Netflix abroad
When you travel in Europe, Netflix can work differently from at home. Which content is shown can depend on:
- the country you are in
- the IP address your internet connection gets
- Netflix’s own rules for content and regions
A data roaming SIM does not automatically mean that you always get a Swedish IP address.
Do I need a VPN?
If a streaming service requires a Swedish IP address, a VPN service can sometimes be used to connect via a Swedish server.
We usually recommend using the VPN directly on the device you stream on, for example a computer, phone, tablet or compatible TV device, and not directly in the router. A VPN in the router can affect the speed in some cases.
Remember that Netflix and other streaming services can have their own terms for the use of VPNs and regional content.
Keep an eye on data usage
Streaming can use a lot of data, especially in high picture quality. How much is used depends, among other things, on the picture quality you choose.
