What is NAT?

NAT is a network function that lets several devices share the same internet connection via the router.

For ordinary browsing, streaming and work you normally do not need to change NAT settings. NAT mainly becomes relevant for advanced use such as some games, remote access or port forwarding.

Do not change more than necessary

Router settings such as APN, DNS, network mode and VPN can affect the whole internet connection. So change one setting at a time and note the original value before you change anything. Then you can easily go back if the result gets worse.

If it still does not work

Check the status of the service and then test one thing at a time. When you contact Wifi.se support, please tell us which router you are using, which SIM/eSIM it concerns, which country you are in and what you have already tested. That way we can start directly with the right troubleshooting step.
