Jimmie Öbom has published an article in the latest issue of Husbil & Husvagn about the 5G router Hybrid Traveller. The article, published on 2 April 2025, compares this new 5G router with an earlier 4G router that was installed in the editorial motorhome.
Hybrid Traveller offers several advantages, including faster download speeds, lower latency and better capacity to handle several devices at the same time, thanks to WiFi 6 support. It is portable, with a built-in battery that lasts over six hours, and can be powered via 230V, USB, 12V or a cigarette lighter socket. The router costs €495 and can be used both in the motorhome and in other places without an external antenna.
