Unlimited Data is a Myth
We often hear from politicians and telecom operators that there is free roaming throughout the EU. And that’s true. To a limit. You have a certain amount of free roaming with your regular phone subscription. But it is far from unlimited. When it runs out, buying more can be expensive.
For the charter tourist, this is rarely a concern. But for us RV travelers, it can become both expensive and complicated. We use data to manage work tasks, do banking, navigate, watch TV, and browse the internet. Especially TV watching takes up a lot of data as several streaming providers have switched to only streaming in HD quality.
