This weekend, we were at Wifi.se for an exciting fair at Solhem Husbil in Bålsta. As the name suggests, Solhem is a place where you feel welcome. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Solhem Husbil invited customers, colleagues, and partners to the autumn Solhem fair, where attendees had the chance to enjoy many offers, win fantastic prizes, have a delicious buffet lunch with bubbles, see industry news, and talk “plåtis” with like-minded people. (“Plåtis” is a smaller type of motorhome—usually shorter than six meters and weighing around 3.5 tons.) The experience had a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with music, mingling, great food, bubbles, and of course, lots of “plåtis” talk.
At the fair, we found 25 “plåtis” from Dethleffs, VanTourer, Globe-Traveller, Sunlight, Westfalia, and other brands, both new and used. There were also 25 other affordable motorhomes from different brands.
At Wifi.se, we were on-site to offer our unique internet solution to all motorhome enthusiasts. Our solution works similarly to a prepaid card—except for data—and is completely subscription-free. This means a data card with Wi-Fi, specially tailored for the motorhome market, that works in Sweden and across all of Europe (EU/EEA). It’s a package solution with a router and roof antenna, allowing you to use your data wherever and whenever you want. The ability to use your data for 12 months is incredibly advantageous.
Solhem Husbil offered their customers a free Wi-Fi router with a roof antenna and 100 GB of data from Wifi.se for anyone who bought a motorhome at the fair, which was much appreciated 😊
Solhem Husbil offers both new and used motorhomes. They mainly focus on smaller motorhomes: vans or “plåtis.” Popular models on the market include the Sunlight Cliff and Van, the modern VanTourer, the technologically advanced Westfalia, and the winterized Globe-Traveller. Their motorhome rental service, McRent Stockholm, is part of Europe’s largest rental chains—McRent. The rental vehicles are a maximum of one year old and are sold at favorable prices after the season. They also offer comprehensive service and accessory installation.
Also present was Ullbädden, led by Birgitta Holmquist, offering covers for motorhome seats in the form of wool blankets. Ullbädden also provides seat cushions, bathrobes, slippers, children’s sleeping bags, and more. See more.
