This year looks set to be a different kind of Christmas, with many not able to meet their loved ones as usual. Many might choose to take a trip in their motorhome. Now, you can watch Swedish Christmas TV in your motorhome across the EU\/EES. This year, it feels especially important for Christmas TV in the motorhome 2020 to offer programs that bring us a sense of togetherness.<\/p>\n
The Christmas lineup is full of tradition, cultural experiences, documentaries, music programs, and delightful drama \u2013 including entirely new special episodes of “V\u00e5r tid \u00e4r nu” (Our Time Is Now). SVT will also bring back their hosts as extra company throughout the season, from Lucia to Epiphany, and of course, a very special host will be featured on Christmas Eve, says SVT’s CEO Hanna Stj\u00e4rne in a press release.<\/p>\n
Artist Lars Lerin, who has previously appeared in SVT\u2019s “Lerins l\u00e4rlingar” (Lerin\u2019s Apprentices), will keep TV viewers company during Christmas TV in the motorhome 2020.<\/p>\n
Between 1959 and 2002, there were small variations in the Christmas Eve hosts. With a few exceptions, it was Bengt Feldreich and Arne Weise who, for 43 years, hosted SVT\u2019s Christmas Eve broadcast. Arne Weise is the person most people associate with this role. He first became a Christmas host in 1964, and between 1972 and 2002, he accompanied viewers on Christmas Eve almost every year. After that, viewers have seen many others, such as Kattis Ahlstr\u00f6m, Gina Dirawi, Henrik Dorsin, Lotta Lundgren, and Erik Haag on the screen.<\/p>\n
Since 2003, a new well-known Swede, often an SVT profile, has sat in the studio on Christmas Eve to present Kalle Anka (Donald Duck) and “Kan du vissla Johanna?” (Can You Whistle Johanna?).<\/p>\n
