{"id":33215,"date":"2026-09-20T10:50:06","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T08:50:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wifi.se\/en\/blog\/faq\/i-cannot-connect\/"},"modified":"2026-09-20T10:50:06","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T08:50:06","slug":"i-cannot-connect","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/wifi.se\/en\/blog\/faq\/i-cannot-connect\/","title":{"rendered":"I cannot connect."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">If you can see the router&#8217;s Wi-Fi but cannot connect, first check that you are using <strong>the right Wi-Fi name and password<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Try the following<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>check the password and try again<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;forget&#8221; the Wi-Fi on the phone or computer and connect again<\/li>\n<li>restart the device you want to connect<\/li>\n<li>restart the router<\/li>\n<li>connect close to the router<\/li>\n<li>test both <strong>2.4 GHz and 5 GHz<\/strong> if both networks are available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>If you are connected but the internet does not work<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Then the problem is probably not the Wi-Fi connection itself. Check instead:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>that the SIM card is active<\/li>\n<li>that there is data left<\/li>\n<li>that the router has contact with the mobile network<\/li>\n<li>whether roaming is switched on, if needed<\/li>\n<li>that the signal light is not red<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>If nothing helps<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">If you have previously changed the Wi-Fi name, password or other settings, you can try a <strong>factory reset<\/strong> of the router.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that a reset returns your own settings to the defaults.<\/p>\n<p
