Scan the QR code with the right device the first time and do not delete the profile unnecessarily. A QR code that has already been used normally cannot be reused.<\/p>\n

An eSIM is a digital SIM profile. Installation and data package are two different things: the profile must be installed correctly and the service must be active.<\/p>\n

You normally do not need to change advanced settings just because you know the term. Start with the default settings and only change what is needed for the specific service.<\/p>\n

The most important rule is: do not delete the eSIM profile from the phone or router<\/strong> unless you have been instructed to do so.<\/p>\n

The QR code for installation can normally only be used once<\/strong>. So if the eSIM profile is deleted, the same QR code usually cannot be used again.<\/p>\n

When troubleshooting, first check that the right eSIM is active, that mobile data and data roaming are switched on<\/strong> and that the right SIM is selected for data.<\/p>\n

Also do not do an unnecessary factory reset, as resetting some devices can delete the eSIM profile.<\/p>\n

Important with eSIM<\/h3>\n

An eSIM is a digital SIM profile and does not work quite like a plastic SIM. So do not delete the profile and do not scan the QR code with another device just to test it. A QR code may be intended for a single installation, and if the old profile is deleted, a new one may need to be ordered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
