How to find the cause of a slow connection<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Try a different location, preferably higher up and closer to a window.<\/li>\n
  2. Run several speed tests at different times of day.<\/li>\n
  3. Check whether the result changes between 4G and 5G or, when roaming, between different networks.<\/li>\n
  4. Test close to the router so that weak Wi-Fi is not confused with a weak mobile signal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Placement can make a big difference<\/h3>\n

    Try the router in several places, preferably in the open and near a window. The motorhome’s metal body, insulation and other obstacles can weaken the radio signal. Just a few metres away, the router may use a different frequency or a different mast and give a noticeably better result.<\/p>\n

    Good to know<\/h3>\n

    Wifi Extreme is a more advanced router solution where the mobile network, antennas, APN and network selection can be set in more detail. Always start with the basic checks before changing advanced settings, because a wrong APN, manual network selection or a badly connected antenna cable can stop the internet completely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
