{"id":32992,"date":"2026-09-20T10:49:44","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T08:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wifi.se\/en\/blog\/faq\/how-do-i-do-a-factory-reset\/"},"modified":"2026-09-20T10:49:44","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T08:49:44","slug":"how-do-i-do-a-factory-reset","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/wifi.se\/en\/blog\/faq\/how-do-i-do-a-factory-reset\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I do a factory reset?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">On the <strong>Hybrid Traveller<\/strong> there is a small <strong>RESET hole next to the slot for the physical SIM card<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Do this:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Leave the router switched on.<\/li>\n<li>Use a <strong>SIM tool<\/strong>, a thin paper clip or something similar.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully press the RESET button through the small hole.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the button down for about <strong>30 seconds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Release the button and let the router restart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After the reset the router is back to factory settings.<\/p>\n<h3>Important to know<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">If you have previously changed, for example:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Wi-Fi name<\/li>\n<li>Wi-Fi password<\/li>\n<li>network settings<\/li>\n<li>other settings of your own<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">these are reset to the default settings after a factory reset.<\/p>\n<p>Do <strong>not use a large, sharp or thick object<\/strong> to press the RESET button. It can damage the button or the reset hole.
