Never force the card in. Then restart the router and wait about a minute so that it can read the SIM card.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">If you use your own SIM card that is not from Wifi.se, check that <strong>the SIM PIN is switched off<\/strong>. The easiest way is to insert the SIM card in a phone and switch off the SIM PIN in the phone&#8217;s settings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">You can also test the SIM card in a phone. Switch off Wi-Fi and check whether mobile data works. With a roaming SIM, <strong>data roaming must also be switched on<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If the SIM card works in the phone but the Hybrid Traveller still does not detect it, get in touch with us. We will help you with further troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wifi-faq-v4\" data-v4-expanded=\"1\">\n<h3>Good to know about the Hybrid Traveller<\/h3>\n<p>The Hybrid Traveller receives the internet over 4G\/5G and then shares the connection as its own Wi-Fi network. So two different things can affect the result: the mobile reception at the router and the Wi-Fi signal between the router and your devices.
