This fantastic Apple TV USB adapter, which also works with 12 volts, allows you to power your Apple TV via your TV’s USB port or another USB port instead of using a 230-volt outlet. Otherwise, you can power your Apple TV with a 12-volt USB outlet.

If your TV’s USB port is unable to provide the required amperage, you can use another USB charger connected to 12 volts. In other words, you can also connect this Apple TV adapter to 12 volts via a USB adapter.

The power adapter connects to the Apple TV’s AC port and then directly to any USB port. The USB port must provide 900 mA, which is supported by most modern TVs.
