Placement Recommendations:
- Avoid placing the antenna under a solar panel as this can block the signal.
- The antenna can be placed anywhere on the roof, even near illuminated objects.
- Ensure the cable length of 2.5 meters is sufficient for the desired placement.
Steps for Installation:
- Drill a hole in the roof:
- Select a location where the antenna can sit securely.
- Ensure the hole diameter matches the cable requirements.
- Secure the antenna base:
- Remove the protective 3M adhesive strip from the antenna base.
- Apply SikaFlex around the drilled hole and on the screw base to create a watertight seal.
- Attach the antenna:
- Place the antenna over the hole.
- Tighten the screws firmly and apply SikaFlex around the screws to prevent water leakage.
- Check stability:
- Ensure the antenna does not move after installation.
- Apply additional SikaFlex if needed for a secure fit.
