What can I do myself if my vehicle router is slow?

The first thing you should do is restart the router. This is done by turning off the power and then turning it back on. If this does not help, you may need to do a reset. This means resetting the router to the original settings it had when it was new. The reset button may be located on the front or back of the router and will be labeled reset. You often need to use a paperclip or the accompanying SIM tool. Hold the button for 10 seconds, release for 2 seconds, hold for 10 seconds again, and then wait 5 minutes until all the lights turn green. Then unplug the power and plug it back in. Wait another 2 minutes. Now the router has been reset and all the original settings are restored. If you have changed login details, the name of the Wi-Fi network, etc., these will revert to the original settings. You can usually find these on the back of the router.
